Daily Reel #3.

Today’s photo is one an image from the last show of the second tour I did with The Chariot back in 2011. I know I am posting a lot from 2011, but I’ve just found a whole lot of images that need to be shown. This image is of Stevis, at the end of their set. The guys had found this plywood just hanging out in the back earlier that afternoon and spray painted hands up on it. Right at the end of their set, during their, I guess you would call it “Outro”, Stevis hopped up on there as the crowd held him up. He ended up dropping to his knees and just swing his arms and guitar at the same time. As punk and aggressive as it may be, the image looked freakin beautiful to me. I have a few more of this particular scene that I love as well, all the images will be posted in a grander post later. For now, here’s this. I loved touring with these guys. It’s one thing to tour for a living, it’s another to experience traveling around the US with your close friends who always give you something new to shoot every night. I am forever grateful for these days. Go see them at Warped Tour this year! http://www.vanswarpedtour.com/band/view/id/44
