Daily Reel #2.

Today’s image is another older film image from my shoot with Eryn Erickson for her music project Eddy in 2011. This shoot was a lot of fun. Shot it in my parents garage when I lived there. I built the set on one side of the garage. Everything I used was mostly things I owned, so the set virtually cost me nothing. Took about 2 days to rearrange the garage and almost a full 24 hours to build the set and set the lights. I made the mistake by not documenting all of how I set it up, but one day, I’ll make graphs of some of the sets and make a post to show how I go about building and lighting them. Eryn and I shot a few different looks, I shot some film for every look for “fun” again. This is the first time I shot strobes with film. It came out quite nice. I have a few others I will be posting that I was extremely pleased with. Check out Eryn’s music facebook here: http://facebook.com/eddysthename. She also runs a clothing company/community called So Worth Loving, check it out.

Specs: Canon Canonet QL17, Kodak Ektar 100, NovaTron Strobe with a shoot through umbrella. Minor touch up and contrast in post.
