Of The Vine.

Of The Vine is definitely one of Atlanta’s best local bands. Can I say that with certainty? Absolutely, just listen to their music and then go see them live. (Listen here: http://ofthevineonline.com). I was stoked to make it out to this show and glad to see these guys back playing more shows. After the show we went and got them a lil’ promo shot, that’s what I came up with below. We were surrounded by a hobbyist’s dream: an old town, lots of red brick, and train tracks… WHAT MORE THAN YOU NEED?… if you want to end up on Rock And Roll Confidential (http://rockandrollconfidential.com/hall/index.php) So I found a little spot with that criss cross fencing, back lit them with my b1600 and used my 580ex II with a softbox as my main light. Then I made them throw sand in the air till the air was filled with particles and the light was bouncing off and gave it a little long exposure. Once I got what I needed I took it into photoshop, messed with the opacities a little and brought this out of it. Check these guys out if you haven’t yall!
