Brian Hall
Atlanta based Commercial, Editorial, and Music Photographer.
I was born and raised in Conyers, GA, a small town just outside of Atlanta, to a big, loud, and close family. Being the youngest of four I was given a unique window into the world of music and arts by siblings and parents who were creative in their own right. Although I always had lofty goals for my life, they were always grounded and pushed by those relationships. Being raised in a southern town, with a surprisingly awesome music scene, I was surrounded by talented friends and peers. I picked up drums in late elementary school, guitar in middle school, and passed most school day evenings with friends in my basement playing as loud, fast, and probably as obnoxiously as possible.
My Grandad took me out when I was in seventh grade and first showed me how to properly take a photograph and then took me back to his dark room where he taught me how to develop and print my own shots. I was hooked and the rest is history.
After I graduated in 2009 with a degree in Commercial Photography I started my own business and assisted some talented photographers. I began traveling around the country for jobs and twice toured the country with a band called The Chariot. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some amazing creatives in the advertising and editorial worlds to tell people’s stories.
Some of my clients include: Rolling Stone, Delta Airlines, Adidas, Oberto Beef Jerky, MelodyVR, Roundhouse Agency, LifeWay, Emory University, Georgia Power, Delta Community Bank, Georgia-Pacific, Cintas, InTouch Ministries, Atlantic Capital Bank, VisionIntoArt, Anthem Insurance, Alternative Apparel, Good Fight Records, MPress Records, Performer Magazine, HM Magazine, Purposity, amongst others. I’m also proud to be a contributing photographer for Red Bull.
In 2014 I married my beautiful wife Mattie and we had our baby girl Ellie Rae in 2018. We have the best pup a man could ask for, our Boxador, Morty. We continue the tradition of being a loud house with a lot of personality. We love our town, the city of Marietta, and investing our time in our surrounding community. At home the music is up, the Braves are on, and there’s almost always a home improvement project half-way done in our 113 year old house.
Check out my other work with my partnerships: Harman & Hall, Soteria Productions, and PixHouse Studios.
